Luxembourg 2003, my first gold medal

During my season with Royal Ballet I got my first gold medal in Luxembourg. I worked with Messerer and Agadjanov on these variations and a good friend of mine Nadine Maclean choreographed the contemporary piece for me and I think it's the most work I'm proud of. I was very happy to be there as I was offered my first job in Luxembourg.

Bravo! I like all of your variations! I like your Esmeralda variation from this competition and the one from Seoul International Competition in 2005. I may be not right because I do not know that much about ballet, but you seemed more girlish in the Luxembourg competition whereas you looked more adultish in Seoul competition. I love both variations because although the choreograpy of the both variations look similar but quite different in expression. I saw your 'desafio de kitri' variations from Prix de Lausanne, Luxembourg, Japan and from Englih National Ballet. All of your variations had different characteristics and I loved them all. Will I be able to see you performing another Esmeralda Solo Variation soon?

Maria, your style seems to be more conducive to European companies. Although you must have a fabulous career now with the SFB! Why didn't you choose to remain with the Royal Ballet in London?
