I'll be performing in the World Premiere of Yuri Possokhov's 'Francesca da Rimini' tonight in San Francisco Ballet's Program 3. The ballet is based on Dante’s epic poem 'The Divine Comedy' and the choreography references Rodin’s famous sculpture 'The Gates of Hell'.

Reviews:

"A lengthy pas de deux for Kochetkova and Boada forms the crux of the story, and it is one of the best parts of 'Francesca'. Boada partners a steely Kochetkova ardently and seamlessly, easily spinning pirouettes fraught with manic desperation into thrilling lifts." San Francisco Chronicle

"But a lengthy, beautiful pas de deux with Kochetkova and Boada, at their best and most believable, is at the heart of the piece."  San Francisco Examiner

Reviews:

"Wayne McGregor's "Chroma" opens the program with a giddy savagery... From the outset, Maria Kochetkova, partnered by Jaime Garcia Castilla, served notice with a brash attack into hip swivels and dagger-like legs juxtaposed with a sinuous upper body." San Francisco Chronicle
